雅5号甜高粱，北京生育期140天左右，平均株高330cm ，茎粗2.5cm ， 液汁含量65％左右，液汁糖锤度16.2—18%；纺锤穗，中等松紧，茎秆一般亩产在4500－5000kg ，最高亩产在5600公斤 。籽粒产量在130－150kg/亩之间。耐旱耐涝耐盐碱，全国大部分地区均可种植。
