Job Description:
Checking and collecting the new arrival items.
Classify and catalogue all new items promptly so as to allow them into circulation within the shortest time possible.
Updating the old call number system and format on all the books in stock.
Checking and binding the old journals and magazines into bound volumes at the end of the academic year.
Data Maintenance and updating.
Perform other related duties as required
Person Specification
The candidate is required to possess the following:
Bachelor Degree or above in Library, Archive Management or Information Management related subjects
Good command in English
Working experience in cataloguing is preferred
Be skilled in computer using, especially the Microsoft Office Suite
To be a good team player
Willing to make a career in library
